Memories

Been in Perth for over a month now. If you ask how I feel? Rather lonely sometimes. New people, new environment, new life. Although I have new friends and so on. I still miss the ones back at home. Miss my church Brothers. Those are some of the best memories i ever had. "Memories", this is how i name the photos i take on my phone. Cause every single photo i take are all my memories. The ones that i cherish close to heart. Being here, i sometimes look at all the photos i have in my album and so on. Its heartwarming to relive some of those memories that i wrote in my own personal history textbook. The one about me. Here. I'll share some of the ones that brings back lots of the memories I have.

Ah. The teenage missionary trip. After the jungle trekking. I was rewarded by Vincent. With a Fu Ying car. lolz. Anyway, the missionary trip was great. I get to see how to live with less. Yet, be more in many other ways. Its just a very great experience.

Aint this cool? Sian bought them for us. Each the initial of each of us brothers' initial. S for sian, T for me, G for yap, J for Josh and E for Chicken.

The very big bunch of prefects of 2007/2008. I sure miss my time of service. But what to do? Its all over. Have fun to the new batches.

This is a more recent photo. It was taken during the Church's Graduation Camp. Was playing an outdoor game. Guess what it is? Realy life dota. Hehe. It was so fun man. Wish to play it again.

I almost forgot we took this photo. This is me, and my other four brothers of MGC Pujut. Since entering secondary school and joining the teenage fellowship. We have been together. Until now, three are still in Miri serving God with unwavering heart. One is in KL studying the be an Engineer. And me, the farthest of them all. Studying dont know what.

This is the 15th Duan Xun students' graduation ceremony photo. I should be in there. But because i came here to study. I had to leave early and not able to finish the whole course. It was a hectic course for me. But i dont regret joining at all. The fellowship time i had with them is something i would never give up for.

The discipline department where i served as prefect for the year 2007/2008. Being in the discipline department has really opened my eyes to a lot things. How to manage those people wont arent making any sense at all. How to work with other prefects to push towards the same goal and so on. It was the best time ever.

The discipline department during the Prefect Camp. Aint we just great?

Hui Ing, Suk Sin and me. We call ourselves the three musketeers of the discipline department because we work well with each other. Dont know why. But we just do. When i heard i was in the discipline department, i never knew i would like it so much. But after a while, i think its one of the best and most special department among the whole Prefectorial Board. Hei, which other department reports directly to a teacher-in-charge?

Concert2008. This is Tony,Jai Seng, Choon Man and Me. We are the proud yet quietly serving Logistics Leader. Choon Man was under me and Jai Seng was Tony's. These two juniors we have. I can just say, they are great. Both have become the top of the prefectorial board 2008/2009. Jai Seng being the Councillor for the Discipline Department, while Choon Man is now the Assistant head prefect. I am proud of you guys. Dont forget your mentor. Hehe.

This is again. The three musketeers. Dont we look great together? Hehe. I mean in a good way. Dont think so much. Hehe.

This is probably the only time you would see me like this. This was taken during MGC Pujut's Teenage fellowship's 20th anniversary's celebration. I was dancing. Yes. Dancing. thats the first and last time you would see me dancing. No more chance. Hehe.

Thats all i can stand to post. Eyes hurt. Hehe. Anyway, have fun looking. Maybe i would do another next time. See ya peeps.

College life

Yo peeps. Wonder who is actually following my blog at all? Hmm. Please leave a comment telling me who actually follows my blog. I want to know my audiences. Hehe.

Anyway, on to the main topic. School has started. I'm studying at Canning College right now. So basically, i'm having college life right now. Its strange, i just finished my SPM a few months ago, and now I am starting school all over again. School was never fun nor great. But being at college is way better than being in Chung Hua, although Chung Hua has its perks.

One thing i find interesting about the educational system here in Australia is that the standard isnt really very high at all. High meaning, that the things we study back in Malaysia is actually harder than the people studying here locally. I'm doing the foundation program and the first chapter of my Physics is about Waves. Half of my Physics textbook is actually what i have studied back in Form 5. Revision time.

Although the educational system here isnt high as people has thought. It is however a better system to it. They have what they called "Continuous Evaluation". Our marks are taken into account based on how well we do throughout the year. My final score after i finish my class here is 50% based on the school's assessment and test while the other 50% is based on the final exam. The one is Malaysia is where our 100% is all based on our SPM exams. I prefer the "Continuous Evaluation" rather than what we have in Malaysia.

Another thing that i like about the classes here, is the fact that the class size is small. Max of 30 students per class. In Malaysia, theres at least 40 per class. Stark contrast. The 30 class per students allows for more interaction in class and the teachers can concentrate on individual students better. 40 students per class is just crazy. A nice thing about this college is that its just one leveled, so no need to climb the stairs like back in Miri. But dont worry, i still get exercise. Because unlike the school's in Malaysia, the students move about to get to their next class instead of the teachers moving. Which gives me my daily exercise equivalent of walking up the stairs.

I dont know what else i have to say about my college life here. Its just better than high school life in Miri. Thats all for now peeps. See yaz.
